The Prayer Of Faith - Part 2
WELCOME TO LET’S TALK GOD ‘N’ CHRIST
I welcome you to Part 2 of our series on PRAYER
The Prayer of Faith – Part 2:
Speak It, See It, Stand on It
Let’s pray.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for a day like this, where we have the opportunity to learn more about You and how to pray aright. May this message impact and transform our prayer life.
Thank You Heavenly Father, in Jesus Name, Amen.
Welcome back, family!
I hope Part 1 got you thinking differently about prayer—and more importantly, about faith. Today we’re delving into Part 2, and let me just say here... if you’ve ever wondered, “What do I do after I pray?”—this one’s for you.
Quickly let’s recap before continuing from where we stopped on the Principles of Prayer Of Faith.
Faith is our life source: The just shall live by faith.
What did Jesus teach us about prayer of faith?
What does it mean to believe?
What Biblical believing means.
We then went on to Principles of The Prayer Of Faith
First two principles:
Be Specific
See the Unseen. Let’s jump to the next principle
3: Use Your Evidence
Hebrews 11:1 says, “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
Let’s get real: If you buy a house, you don’t carry the building around to prove it’s yours—you hold up the title deed. That deed is your proof. Well, guess what? Faith is your title deed for everything God has promised—healing, provision, wisdom, peace and so on.
When you pray in faith, look for your evidence:
A scripture that jumps in your spirit.
A word from God during your prayer.
A peace that settles over you.
That’s your proof!
Stand on it. Speak it. Keep declaring it. Don’t let go.
4: Don’t Doubt After You’ve Prayed
This one is crucial. If you’ve asked God in faith - don’t dig up your seed! You wouldn’t plant tomatoes and then yank them out every morning to “check if they’re growing.”
Yet that’s exactly what we do when we keep asking for the same thing over and over. Faith prays once - and thanks God after.
Now I get it—doubt creeps in. Sometimes in your mind, sometimes in your spirit. So let’s talk about both.
Doubt in the Mind
That’s the voice that says, “What if it doesn’t work?” or “You’re crazy.” Paul gives us the answer in how to silence that voice in 2 Corinthians 10:5 which enjoins us to:
“Cast down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God...”
Cast it down! Talk back to those thoughts. Say what God says instead.
Doubt in the Spirit
This is deeper—it’s when you waver inside. James 1:6-8 says that a double-minded person won’t receive anything from God. Ouch.
The cure? Strengthen your faith.
How? Start doing the Word!
For example:
1 Thessalonians 5:18 says, “In everything, give thanks.”
So start there—give thanks. Right in the middle of the mess. Faith acts, even before feelings catch up.
5: Say What God Says
This one’s a powerhouse. Your words carry life or death. (Proverbs 18:21)
Romans 10:10 tells us that we must believe with our heart, and confess with the mouth. In other words:
Believing brings alignment. Confession brings manifestation.
Faith is voice-activated.
Whatever you’re believing for—healing, breakthrough, restoration—speak it out loud. Not once, not twice, but daily. Declare it like it’s already yours—because in the spirit, it is.
Five Keys to the Prayer of Faith:
1. Be Specific – Know exactly what you're asking for.
2. See the Unseen – Visualize it through the eyes of faith.
3. Use Your Evidence – Stand on the Word or witness you’ve received.
4. Don’t Doubt After Praying – Speak life, not fear.
5. Say What God Says – Your confession fuels your outcome.
Let’s Land This:
Listen, family—your faith was never meant to be a gamble. Jesus guaranteed results when we pray in faith, in believing we receive.
So starting today: speak with confidence, pray with boldness, and live with expectation.
Your mountain? It’s already moving.
I can’t wait to hear your testimonies!
If this blessed you, let someone else know—text them, share the podcast, or talk about it in your small group.
See you in the next part of this prayer series.
God bless you richly!
